I was numb.
My life had become routine. I was just going through the motions. There were a few days of the year that I emotionally exploded and shut myself off to the world.
I loved my job. Music was my life. I never dreamed that I would be doing it without her though.
When all contact with her was lost years ago, the fool that I was let her go. I had accepted my fate to live out my life gutted and miserable. Then, one letter changed all of that.
